Foreign investors have brought investments into privatized enterprises in way of technologic equipment supplies, construction and repair works' performance and cash transfers effected, all for the total amount of 28912,38 thousand US Dollars related to  50 sites. Implementation of the following large investment projects was started: "Samarkand tea-packing factory", State Joint Stock Company "UzCable", Hotel "Turon" in Tashkent City etc.

As practice shows, participation of a strategic investor in process related to  privatization of State-owned property almost in each particular case changes radically the economic status at an enterprise. As a rule, investments made by an investor play a role of a triggering mechanism thus providing second life of an enterprise, raising it onto a higher level.
